The Role of Employees in Corporate Governance in the UK

Abstract

This dissertation discussed whether extent of the legal protections of stakeholders in the UK is adequate through the Identification of the legal shortcoming, and why should the law protect stakeholders and regard them the same as shareholders, introducing some good examples to protect stakeholders in some countries’ jurisdictions, and finally how would be the proposal to fix the legal deficiency for regarding stakeholders in particular employees if not all stakeholders.
