dc.description.abstract | : While biopsy using microscopic examination of tissue may be considered gold standard for differentiating between renal tumors, it is limited by complications and clinical cost-effectiveness. Recently, there is growing interest in radiomics analysis, using advanced image processing techniques such as texture analysis as a non-invasive technique for assessment of these tumors. Texture analysis techniques provide quantitative information regarding texture, tumor margins and shape, which may correlate with histopathology and genomic data of RCC subtypes. | |
