| dc.description.abstract | Neom megacity is a project unlike any other. The futuristic designs, and the plans to be a truly smart city powered only by renewable energy sources mean that its very existence is contributing to knowledge. This research project aims to codify that knowledge, so that it is accessible for future projects, and to bring together the planned solutions to the various obstacles facing the city. This will provide additions to theory, particularly in the area of sustainability, to policy, by ensuring that stakeholder communications are prioritised, and to practice, because it will ensure that the solutions used at Neom will be available to the designers of future projects. | |
