The outcomes of the study have found that confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been rising over time in each of the mentioned countries which has significantly affected the economy. For instance, it has been established that stock markets, inflation and interest rates in the three countries were influenced by the variations in the COVID-19 trends with greater shocks being experienced over time. However, it was not confirmed that the pandemic has led to financial crisis environment in the short run.
