Abstract

Nuclear imaging techniques vary, but the most important requirement remains to obtain highresolution and high-quality images. SPECT/CT systems are one of the most important modern imaging techniques through which it is possible to obtain diagnostic images with high-quality parameters. In this paper, the data was obtained from two systems, the E.Camand the Intevo (with the smart collimator). A comparison was made between the two systems through quality parameters: linearity, spatial resolution, uniformity, and tomographic uniformity. The results showed that the Intevo system has lines that are more regular than that of the E.Cam system. Also, the results proved that the spatial resolution of the Intevo system is high compared to the E.Cam system. For the uniformity of the Intevo system, the results have shown a decrease in the integrative values (UFOV/CFOV) of all the collimators used compared to E.Cam system and that means the uniformity of Intevo system was higher.
