Abstract

Although obesity is reported to be associated with breast cancer risk, controversy surrounds the risk of breast cancer from BMI in a different context. There is sample of evidence linking the body mass of postmenopausal women to the risk of BC. However, the inconsistency of this association dominates the studies conducted on younger and premenopausal patients. The study aims to use the strategy of systematic literature review to evaluate the overall effect of obesity as a risk factor BC in women and the factors affecting the association.
