EXAMINING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GOVERNANCE PRACTICES IN E-HEALTHCARE SECTOR
Abstract
Examining the governance practices and the outcomes that could be benefited from effective implementation of the governance practices in the healthcare sector were not a new topic which it has been taken the interest of the present studies. Therefore, the current research motivated by the need to discuss the importance of this topic through discus the governance practices in the E-healthcare services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KSA due to the dramatic changes among its future version of 2030 and addresses the questions which investigate the existed governance initiatives and challenges encounter them. The study used systematic literature review and secondary data of different respectful databases like Scopus, Web Of Science WOS and other sources to extract the relevant studies which meet with the identified inclusion criteria. 13 final studies were involved in the final analysis and were reviewed and discussed their findings. The results showed various implementations and including different delivery systems in E-healthcare services in the KSA but mostly they need more developing and integrating modern systems, which the present systems still ineffective and face some determinant and failure in the implementation. The study provides several implications and recommendations would add to the existed knowledge as well as the insight associated with the need to increase the governance implementation among the healthcare institution in KSA, it also provides future research suggestions that enable researchers to model new studies and frameworks. The limitations should be considered for further understanding the phenomena by expanding the contexts and adding more new methods and sample with different interrelated variables designing to tackle contemporary organizational issues.
