dc.description.abstract | Photosynthesis is essential for plant growth. ● There is an interaction between light and CO2 signals. ● It is estimated that Epf2 gene have a connection with CO2 concentration. ● It is estimated that Phyb is required in the light and CO2 interaction. ● Epf2 mutant does show an increase in the stomatal number and decrease in the stomatal index in comparison to the wild type. ● Phyb does almost show a decrease in the stomatal number and an increase in the stomatal index in comparison to the wild type. ● CO2 signals seem to be more influenced by light signals. | |
