Abstract
This dissertation explores the role of interactive interior design sculptures in enhancing guest experiences within luxury hotel lobbies. By integrating kinetic elements and simple technologies such as shape memory alloys and PIR motion sensor to offer interaction for users as most as possible. The study aims to create engaging aesthetic environments that align with the evolving expectations of contemporary travellers. A mixed-method approach, combining qualitative questions with quantitative surveys, was employed to assess the proposed design and measure its impact the interaction sculpture on the users' feeling in the context of luxury hotel lobbies.
