The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands at a significant moment in history as it attempts to transform its economy and Vision 2030 is the key to achieving this objective. Connected with the aim are the goals to raise the standard of living of Saudi citizens, and empowering women is an important objective to achieve. This project, therefore, explores the role of technology-driven solutions in empowering women in the Saudi workforce, contributing to the broader objectives of Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) on gender equality. The study employs a qualitative research methodology, including thematic analysis of secondary data sources such as academic literature, government reports, and case studies. Key themes identified include digital literacy and empowerment, barriers to technology adoption, policy and institutional support, socio-cultural dynamics, and the impact of COVID-19 on remote work and digital transformation. The findings highlight significant progress in women's workforce participation, driven by initiatives like digital literacy programs and supportive government policies. However, persistent challenges remain, including socio-cultural barriers and a digital divide, particularly in rural areas. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers and practitioners, emphasizing the need for comprehensive and inclusive strategies to enhance digital infrastructure, promote financial inclusion, support work-life balance, and foster gender diversity in leadership.
