In this thesis, we built tools to investigate Phase-α of the COMET experi- ment. Specifically, we look into the Range Counter, a device whose purpose is to identify the particles and measure their momentum. To this end, particles passing through detection planes in the Range Counter output signals whose features must be analyzed via parameter extraction. An iterative design pro- cess was taken to create and improve the parameters and data. Finally, the data was plotted in distributions which successfully exhibit the key physical features that were expected.
