AI is the revolution of the 21st century which has changed the practices and behaviours of humans across every segment of society, politics, and economy. The new age revolution of AI is the introduction of interactive tools such as Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Augmented reality (AR). The concept of Metaverse is the fusion of both VR and AR and is a next generation revolution that offers its users a seamless experience of virtual and physical environment. This new age revolution has already been deployed in the gaming and entertainment industry where in the games, the users are able to interact in a virtually setup ecosystem which is closest to the real-life experience. Literature has shown how metaverse can replace physical presence in education, offices, markets, tourism, adventure, religion, etc. With its expansion across sectors, Metaverse will completely revolutionize the tourism sector where users will be able to have real life experience of visiting a museum or a beach while they will be at their home
