This project aims to narrate a story about the eucalyptus genus and reflect upon its characteristics that have been altered by the British colonies. Connecting the dots between the tree's history and the present and diving back to Eucalyptus roots and origins as a necessary step to unfold some of its crucial history. As well as expanding the research about these trees within a postcolonial context, in terms of indigenous displacement, land gentrification, controversial impacts on local ecosystems, and contemporary production. That will be conducted by focusing on three key geographical locations; Australia, South Africa, and Palestine.
