It is a fact that the growth in technological advancements and telecommunications have motivated many airline companies to establish their web applications through which their services and products have been distributed to potential customers directly. However, the limitations of services and travel preferences in the membership accounts of the reviewed airline applications contributed to the development of our Preference-based Travel Assistant System (PBTAS) which is, in fact, a subsystem of the Airline Reservation System project. The PBTAS aims to build a secured web application to fundamentally support the travel needs of frequent passengers via providing a free account registration through which the flight search and booking processes can be effectively accelerated. The primary outcomes of this project are to successfully build a preference-based flight recommender for an adult and automatically generate the booking form for any selected flight based on retrieving data of the passenger.
