Tic COMpensator (STATCOM) is the device that used to improve the power quality and the performance of the grid, and it is a shunt device where it is used at load side or at power buses, and Its main goal is improving the power factor and correct it over the time with different types of loads. In this project the STATCOM is built with Z-source converter and control circuit. The project simulations are made with MATLAB and Simulink to get the results and for evaluation, and the circuit drawings are made with CIRCUITLAB.
