Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of PRINCE2 Agile elements in enhancing project management flexibility, particularly in managing schedule changes. Using a qualitative research methodology, the study employed semi-structured interviews with two experienced PRINCE2 Agile practitioners to gather in-depth insights. The data was analyzed using content analysis, which identified key themes such as the tailoring principle, fixing and flexing, and the integration of other methodologies to enhance visualization and workflow efficiency. The findings demonstrate PRINCE2 Agile's ability to balance structure and flexibility by accommodating adjustments in project quality and scope to meet deadlines. However, challenges such as resistance from team members and the need for comprehensive training were also highlighted, underscoring the importance of support and education in successful implementation. Overall, the study concludes that PRINCE2 Agile provides a robust framework for managing complex projects, offering a balance between control and adaptability essential for navigating the unpredictable nature of project schedules.
