Under the 2030 vision laid out by the Saudi government, emphasizing sustainability and enhanced transportation, this research examined methods and approaches to reduce car dominance and long travel times in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to enhance individual mental and physical well- being. A survey answered by 118 individuals living in Riyadh was used to measure their satisfactions and perspectives on the neighborhoods, public transport, car-sharing, pedestrians, and awareness. A comparative analysis compared Riyadh with international best practices in sustainable mobility and their impact on well-being. This study intends to develop criteria for urban planning that support sustainable transportation and neighborhood design, improving Riyadh's residents' mental and physical well-being.
