Abstract

Sustainable leadership is the engine of sustainable performance of organizations through social innovation. The research aims to investigate the impact of Sustainable Leadership Practices on Social Sustainable Performance Through Social Innovation Capabilities in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The research adopted a mixed methodology. The total sample is 494 respondents, where questionnaire included 481 respondents, and the interviews included 13 participants. The (SPSS) program was used for analysis for questionnaires, (Atalas.Ti) for interviews, and the AMOS program which confirmed the suitability of the model for the research. The hypotheses were tested, and the results were confirmed through linear and multiple regression. The results showed that there is a positive impact of sustainable leadership practices on social performance through social innovation capabilities. There is a positive impact of social innovation capabilities on sustainable performance. Sustainable leadership practices positively impact participation in social innovation capabilities. There is an effect of two of five variables which are (knowledge sharing and trust), The research recommends conducting more research on the factors of social innovation capabilities. It also recommends that decision makers choose a sustainable leader to stimulate innovation in their organizations.
