dc.description.abstractThe current study aims to reveal the level of practice of teachers of gifted students in the Tabuk and Hail regions of methods of encouraging creative thinking from the point of view of students, in addition to identifying the obstacles to creative thinking from the point of view of teachers. The study population consisted of all student teachers in addition to all gifted students in my city Hail and Tabuk in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study followed the analytical descriptive approach by designing two questionnaires as tools to collect data from the study sample consisting of (150) teachers and (400) students. The SPSS program was also used for statistical analysis, which included arithmetic means and multiple analysis of variance. The study concluded that the means of the practice level of teachers of gifted students in the Tabuk region for methods of encouraging creative thinking from the point of view of the students as a whole is (3.83). The means of the level of obstacles to creative thinking from the point of view of teachers as a whole was (3.04), the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the means of students' responses about the level of practice of teachers of gifted students in the Tabuk region for methods of encouraging creative thinking due to the school stage variable in favor of medium stage in all fields and the total score. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the field of creative thinking obstacles related to the curriculum between teachers whose experience ranged between (5 years - less than 10 years) ,(less than 5 years) and those with more than 10 years of experience, their experience ranges between (less than 5 years) and between (5 years - less than 10 years), decision-making and taking in accordance with the requirements of the times and students' tendencies and desires.
