Digitisation of the justice system relates to optimising technology for justice system. This would involve technologies being used to enhance efficiency of the justice system. The benefits of using technologies in the justice system include reduction of legal costs, higher accessibility to litigants, the potential for litigants to access the digital justice system from any location, and making decision-making asynchronous. The proposed research seeks to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence in the digitising project and whether this poses specific challenges and problems for the justice system and its stakeholders
