The Development of Digital Twin Scenario for Secure Autonomous Vehicle
Abstract
Digitised technologies in the manufacturing sector are transforming every department in the automotive manufacturing value chain, from design and product innovation to consumer and services. The quick growth of data analytics and an increase in the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) enabled digital connectivity between the vehicle and infrastructure. These interconnectivity poses a vast range of opportunities of threats to manufacturing and society. For this reason, all car industry stakeholders must fully understand the risks to their networks, data and control systems from cyber threats and take steps to close the gaps and potential vulnerabilities to maintain public confidence in the car platform system. Assess operational behavior and performances of smart cars from any anomaly events by human is very challengeable. Thus, the main target of this project is to study the impact of cyber-attack in the automotive manufacturers and develop new framework solutions of autonomous vehicle regarding the safety and security issues. This can be achieved by developing an innovative data protection technique including data gathering and operational decision to tackle the outstanding.
