dc.description.abstractAs disaster law focuses on government responsibility, states have traditionally been the primary responders to disasters and emergencies. However, corporations also have a crucial obligation to respond. This project explores the effectiveness of private financing of disaster risk reduction (DRR) and how best international human rights law (IHRL) can be incorporated into efforts to prevent and reduce the impacts of disasters.
