Abstract
Background: Self-marketing skills can have a profound impact on nurses’ self-esteem by fostering a stronger sense of professional identity and competence. When nurses are able to effectively present their skills and achievements, they often receive more recognition and validation, which in turn boosts their self-worth and motivationAim: to assess the influence of self-marketing skills and self-esteem among nurses at Alhayit General Hospital, Saudi Arabia. Method: Descriptive correlational design, convenience sample of available nurses (n= 50) working at all departments at Alhayit General Hospital, Saudi Arabia, using two tools, namely: Nurses Self-Marketing Skills Questionnaire, and Nurse Self Esteem Questionnaire.Results: about 71.0% of the studied nurses had a high total perception of self-marketing skills, while 29.0% of them had a poor total perception of self-marketing skills, and 60.0% of the studied nurses had a high total level of self-esteem, while 32.0% of them had a medium total level of self-esteem. Only 8.0% of the studied nurses had a low total level of self-esteem. nurses’ self-esteem and total self-marketing skills
