Vacation

Abstract

Vacation! To the common person that would be a lavish hotel, a nice spa resort or a 25 day cruise ship across the world, but in my film you witness what a vacation is without all of these. My film was first thought of by me when I was brainstorming ideas for the project. It was a genre that I always wanted to test out, something I never tried before. Comedy and a bit of suspense. Would it work? Well that question was posed every time I read my script because I was scared this genre wouldn’t work but looking back at it now, I feel it was all just a lot of overthinking. The easiest way to describe vacation is by saying that it’s a story that involves, humour, comedy, thriller and a lot of suspssneful elements. All of these tied together is what I feel makes the script what it is today. The more I read the script the more fascinated I become as this was all something above and beyond, a passion but more of a job.
