Abstract
The report discusses a project that is designed and implemented to meet the needs of some people. Those people may have
some health issues and they would like to improve their health or one of their relative’s health
by listening to others experiences and stories on how they improve their health conditions. The
importance of this kind of applications appears with the covid-19 crisis when people should
isolate themselves and they have no one around them to help and support. These applications
can offer a knowledge support to those to learn how they should deal with the illness along
with the positive stories for people who recover and continue their life normally. This
application takes into consideration both emotional and knowledge support. It is an android
complex application that brings people together to share their health interests through the
internet on mobile devices. The application is considered carefully the safety of the application
through using some procedures to prevent publishing wrong information in health filed.
Additionally, privacy aspects for users are taken into account as well for users who would like
to hide their identities while using the app. This is also one of the benefits of the online peer-to-peer health communities app in offering a place where all people can share their health
worries without showing their identities if they want. However, traditional peer support
communities that are provided by some health organisation does not meet this need. Moreover,
it helps people to engage with communities like this regardless of their geographical location.
