The coordination and scheduling process can be highly complex and time-consuming. The level of complexity may increase significantly if applied under many conditions, as is the case in the educational field. Implementing Viva exam schedules involves a long coordination phase between the specified parties. Also, they must meet certain conditions in order to reach an expected exam time that takes into account their desires and availability. Problems of coordination of viva meetings could arise in the case of the existence of three parties, especially for the academic staff who participate in other examinations. These difficulties could appear in many stages, such as when considering preferences, having fewer availabilities, and more. This paper aims to discuss a Web-based Academic Viva Management System (VMS), which organizes the viva scheduling by looking into the desires of each user using a Backtracking Algorithm (BA). This system noticeably transfers scheduling viva into the practical frame and manages MSc projects.
