dc.description.abstract | This research investigates the role of the FeoABC system in iron transport within E. coli, focusing on the small protein FeoA, which is believed to have a regulatory role in iron uptake. The study tested FeoA’s effect on iron-related gene activity under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions using techniques like qRT-PCR. Results suggest that FeoA might regulate the activity of the Fur protein, but further studies are needed to fully understand its role. | |
