Abstract
Design thinking's integration into strategic management, which leads to design corporate performance, is a contentious issue in design research. Design thinking is critical to the creative economy; however, its application is susceptible to unpredictability, especially in the external and internal surroundings of an organization. This could have a significant impact on performance in small and medium-sized design firms (SME's). However, a thorough review of the relevant literature indicates that there is little research on how design thinking might affect innovative business development and strategies, particularly in the context of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of design thinking on business innovation capabilities across small and medium-sized companies in the United Kingdom.
