The project, led by AVConsultancy, leverages innovative technology solutions to bridge the gap in financial inclusion. By combining secondary and primary data sources, the report outlines the project's objectives, methodologies, key findings, and actionable recommendations. The research identifies mobile banking as a preferred method, highlights positive perceptions of technology usability, and reveals the deaf community's proactive approach to seeking accessibility tools. Participants' willingness to switch banks for improved accessibility underscores the importance of addressing this gap. The report concludes with recommendations focused on revenue generation, improved communication, effective catering to deaf users, bank staff training, and continuous improvement. By implementing these recommendations, ESquared Signing Banks can demonstrate its commitment to innovation, customer-centricity, and financial inclusivity for the deaf community.
