Tool to Prevent Phishing Attacks in Organisations
Abstract
Technology hugely contributes to the global business process and covers every aspect
of human life.Holland and Bardoel (2016) This research focuses on phishing case study
analysis, anti-phishing awareness and comparative analysis between the various existing
anti-phishing frameworks. Using peer-reviewed research, this study offers an in-depth
review of the concept of Phishing’s by providing explanations on the motivation of
phishing attacks, making analysis of case studies and comparative analysis between the
existing anti-phishing frameworks. Phishing is a technological scam that has undergone
an evolution over the years and has grown into a massive enterprise for scammers.Gupta
et al. (2017) This researched and analysed information on new and improvised means
of how digital users are scammed without their concern and knowledge. According to
research by Home Depot , The United States and Canada alone have reported a loss
of $62 million to scams.Shu et al. (2017) Through the literature review, the aim is to
inform the organisation’s employees of all malicious crimes by scammers, list preventive
measures for such crimes and educate as it relates to phishing emails.Shu et al. (2017)
This research attempts to create a tool that educates the employees on the types of
phishing, their causes and the preventive measures necessary against phishing attacks.
