dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the translation of children's literature. The target text reader is important particularly when the translation is aimed for children. However, many aspects need take into account such as, the cultural references, the child knowledge and the target text culture. The boy at the back of the class was chosen for the translation purpose and to identify the main challenges in translating children's literature from English into Arabic. Moreover, it focuses on the on the appropriate translational strategies to be followed when deal with culture refences such as, foreignization and domestication.
