Abstract

Tinnitus and anxiety are common in people with autism, and they can have negative impacts on their lives. However, there is limited understanding and lack of studies on tinnitus perception in people with ASD and its relationship with anxiety. This grant proposal will illustrate the importance of conducting this study to evaluate the difference in tinnitus experience between autistic and non-autistic individuals and explore the relationship between ASD and anxiety to help improve people with ASD quality of life. The prospective findings could also contribute to exploring effective treatment methods in the future.
