Abstract

An increase in the inefficiency and cost of healthcare services has necessitated consideration of approaches that can bring quality and reduce costs. This study assesses the effectiveness of Lean applications in hospitals, with the aim of studying Lean’s advantages and disadvantages, and analysing the impact it has had in hospital facilities.
