Abstract

A Translation of three Literary Short Stories from English to French having French Speaking Saudi residents and citizens as the targeted group readers.

Conducting Literary translation and analyzing the difficulties associated with that particular field of translation between the mentioned two languages, highlighting the challenges that can face a translator of literary content on how to deliver intended meaning and context to a defined group of readers having in mind their cultural, religious and former background.

This analysis showcases the appropriate process and tools to deal with the special characteristics of the targeted group readers when conducting literary translation.
