Pesticides-Induced Limb Defects: A Systematic Review
Abstract
Exposure to pesticides and their active agents results in an increase in the risk of limb defects. Limb defects that occur from exposure to pesticides have characteristics distinct from those that result from exposure to thalidomide or valproic acid. Furthermore, the mechanism of actions of limb defects resulting from exposure to pesticides is different from the mechanism of action associated with exposure to thalidomide or valproic acid
