Abstract

This management report is developed in pursuit of obtaining convoluted understanding of the architectural framework of Cloud Computing in its present form and the repercussion that this phenomenon of computing technology has embarked over its end users. With the inference based on the existing studies and material available on Cloud Computing technology, attempt to identify how end users of computing technology would want this concept of Cloud Computing to architecturally structure itself with this forming the core aim of the management report. This report dwells into the present and the future trends in Cloud Computing technology, highlighting the paradigm shift observed in the scope of the corresponding applications presented by Cloud technology as observed by the end users of this technology. The corresponding research is instigated by presenting a vivid insight into the literature available on Cloud Computing technology in the form of a literature review and presented on a broad prospective of Cloud technology to start off with and gradually narrowing the scope of the literature review to technological characteristics of Cloud Computing with review of literature on its architectural framework, the factors incorporated within Cloud technology which have made it a successful phenomenon, the advantages associated in adopting this technology, the barriers to this technology currently seen and features that may be incorporated in the future architectural blue print of cloud applications that would help it overcome the barrier it faces currently. The literature review also dwells into research model adopted in this report with Technology Acceptance Mode (TAM) forming the core fundamental framework of research model with also inculcation of various other extended features from other tangential research models generated by varied researchers. The literature review on the whole propagates a in-depth theoretical based understanding into the structural framework of Cloud computing technology and also propagate a brief insight into the key constructs that may be inculcated in the architectural blue print of future Cloud architecture. With a vivid understanding of Cloud computing technology propagated through the review of available literature done, the attention is now directed towards underpinning the observation brought about in the literature review through empirical research and explore the deviances in the analysis of both research modes. The report appropriately adopts quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire mode to conduct the empirical research which is propagated across a non probability set of convenient sampling population. Out here again, the questionnaire was diligently generated in line with the various constructs that surged up from the research model designed in accordance to the topic under focus. The survey responses are then tabulated and put under the scanner through various set of analysis to recognise the frequency, reliability and the descriptiveness of the gathered data in order to check on the correctness of the questionnaire designed through SPSS software. Further the data is analysed to predict the influence between the constructs adopted in the research model thereby identifying the important architectural components that need to be considered and inculcated while designing future architectural features on Cloud computing technology and all its associated applications which through the analysis findings are considered important influencing predictors in adopting and using Cloud computing technology by the end users. Parallels are then drawn between the findings from the reviews of literature and empirical research conducted and key aspects identified are consolidated and put forward forming the conclusion of the repor
