Abstract

Abstract The research examines the dependence of the operations and manufacturing systems on digitalization in India after the outbreak of Covid-19. In this projecr, the researcher analysed the background of the research properly. Aims and objectives of the research has been identified early in the project to conduct the research study methodically. Through this research, the importance of digitalization during the outbreak of Covid-19 was analysed properly. Along with that, the project discussed the significance of research as it has been observed that the issue examined in the project has great importance. That is because due to the situation of Covid-19, most of the organizations adopted digital technology in their business in India. A range of literature related to the research issue has been collected from Google scholar searches and the content of that literature is discussed. Literature review analysis has helped the understanding of the topic and exploring and investigating the hypothesis of the research. A range of organizational models’ theories has been discussed in the literature review, helping the project demonstrate proper knowledge about the research topic. The methods that are used to conduct the study and to achieve the outcome were discussed properly in the project. For this study, a mixed method approach was selected by the researcher and both the survey and the interview method were used to gather the relevant data about the topic. The collected primary data are discussed and analysed, with that leading to a findings and data analysis section. For the survey method, 20 employees from different Indian business sectors have been selected and data were gathered through 15 questions related to the topic. Along with that, for the interviews, 2 managers from the Indian business sector have been chosen. The project provides conclusions from the research and along with relevant recommendations based on this research. It has been found that there is a lack of Infrastructure in the business sector India to implement the digital technologies properly, which is something that needs to be resolved. Along with that, IT training and development is required for the employees and Government of India needs to take initiatives to revive the business sector of India after Covid-19.
