Abstract

This report is concerned with prognosing the structural health of the elevator component as well as addressing any additional form of instability in the drone’s motor block. The prognosis is to be communicated to project HEX, which will inform their decision with re-use or remanufacturing said component. The yielded modal properties of the elevators are found to significantly deviate from its original state, thereby proving the extent of damage to be unsafe for re-use. However, the vibration levels from the motor block itself is determined to be safe with respect to avoiding unwanted vibrations that could compromise the drone’s performance.
