Description

This report outlines a business proposal for the development and launch of Hajjcare+ which will feature a wearable device and a mobile application. The product is specifically designed to operate in a market niche by offering digital health support to pilgrims along with navigation facility to move easily around the area. The digital health support will comprise of real-time health monitoring which will be extremely crucial in the extreme hajj environmental conditions. Moreover, it will provide also provide medical support in case of emergency. The target market for this device includes pilgrims in general but specifically the elderly or those with chronic health condition. The second feature of this device would include the navigation support which is a major point of concern during the hajj season due to the extreme levels of crowd. The navigation support will not only provide route tracking, or connection with logistics providers but also it will help in tracking pilgrims in case they get lost in the crowd. This report highlights the stakeholder mapping whereby the major stakeholders identified are pilgrims, support staff, medical teams, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies. Furthermore, the report provides a comprehensive SWOT and PESTLE analysis as part of the micro and macro-economic environment analysis.
