This study examined students’ perceptions about the benefits of integrating technology programs and tools in the learning process. It also examined their positive impact on academic performance and knowledge growth, with the aim of understanding whether digital technology enhances learning for students in Saudi Arabian Universities. The study addressed the expansion of theories and literature that are related to the research questions, and the extent of their contribution around this field. That in turn will explain the fundamental importance of using technology in the learning process in higher education, and how it strengthens that process. An inductive approach was used to answer the research questions. Quantitative research methods that use statistical and mathematical approaches to process primary data were used. Primary data was collected in the form of a questionnaire where a set of questions were drawn up. The questions were closed-ended, and the answers of the participants were captured using Likert Scale, where 1 meant strongly disagree and 5 meant strongly agree. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of students via the Internet through social media, WhatsApp, and e-mail. The data was then analysed by descriptive analysis and frequency distribution through an Excel program. The analysis showed that the majority of participants prefer integrating the technological programs and tools in the learning process. We conclude that technology enhances students' performance and knowledge growth, as well as has positive benefits on the learning process.
