Abstract

This analysis is an evaluation of the second Intermediate Saudi English Textbook (McGraw- Hill Series Super Goal 4). The fundamental language abilities are writing, reading, listening and speaking and are the essentials of learning and adapting any language; consequently, it must be adjusted to the understudy need. Saudi Arabia has set a higher demand for training with unique stress on learning English to guarantee that its students are capable of speaking English fluently. The research paper is separated into five sections. The first section is the introduction, which seeks to highlight the issues to be addressed in this research, their significance, purpose and limitations. Part two covers the history of intermediate schools, instructing of English, material assessment. The third chapter is the research methodology, while part four talks about research discoveries and analysis. The final section discusses the results and gives suggestions and a conclusion. The researcher utilised quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the textbook, and surveys have been circulated to the target participants. The total number of participants is just 50 English teachers. Those teachers filled in the questionnaire manually. The questionnaire is comprised of 32 statements classified into sevens Dimensions. With taking into account the participant' perspectives, the textbook seemed to satisfy the English teachers in many areas that have been tested in this study. It demonstrates a few qualities in various parts of the course book. In general, the Q4, Q6, Q10, Q12, Q21, and Q22 statements picked up the most noteworthy positive rate since the mean was 3.0 and higher compared to other tested comments.
