Genomic Biomarkers of Cancer Therapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Abstract
The outcomes of this research project will inform more extensive studies regarding the genomic analysis and parthenogenetic analysis of 3’-UTR for the improvement of the current treatment interventions associated with targeted therapy. The outcomes will also help in informing better future medical practices in the management and treatment of NSCLC. Additionally, the study will assemble relevant evidence on the role of miRNA in regulating 3’-UTR expression to enhance the understanding of the changes associated with the expression of these genes, which may affect cancer susceptibility and drug response. The findings also demonstrate clinical relevance where the SNPs identified can be subjected to functional analysis using appropriate animal models in the laboratory.
