Abstract
This thesis mainly investigates the limitations of the current Saudi Arabian laws in digital privacy, aiming to suggest solutions that can reinforce these laws. This will be achieved through the assessment of the current local laws that are related to privacy, investigating their limitations and effectiveness in reducing privacy issues, by critically analysing the laws and by conducting interviews with legal experts in the field locally. The thesis will try to offer a better understating of the impact of those laws on the Saudi society, by conducting surveys on Saudi social media users from different backgrounds which will offer better insight of the issue. This thesis will also aim to reveal the issue regarding the broad language of the few articles, in the Saudi anti-cybercrime law which deal with privacy issues of individuals and the importance of a separate body of law that regulates private data protection
