dc.description.abstractThis thesis presents a microwave transceiver implementation for drones jamming and speed radar using a HB-100 device. In this thesis, the HB-100 is used to transmit a highpower continuous RF signal with 2.8cm wavelength to block the communication operation between the controller and the drones. After that, the receiver antenna in the HB-100 receives the reflected signal from the drones' body that moves through a nonlinear mixer to generate the intermediate frequency signal that is utilized to measure the target's speed. Because the received signal has low power, the output signal from the HB-100 has a very low voltage value in the range of the microvolts. Therefore, a twostage cascaded operation amplifier (op-amp) circuit is built using LM324 op-amp to amplify the output signal from the HB-100. The first stage is an active band-pass filter and the other stage is an integration op-amp. This amplifier circuit works to convert the output signal from AC with microvolts to pulse signal swing between 0V and +3.7V with DC level at +2.5V to interface the signal with an Arduino Uno. The Arduino Uno is programmed based on the Doppler shifting equation to measure the target's speed based on the reflected signal where this result is shown on the COM3 page in the Arduino program.
