dc.description.abstractTo improve the lives of individuals to make their homes more comfortable and efficient, and to provide them with remote monitoring and control of their homes, a smart home system project using Arduino and ESP32 has been developed. In this project the smart home system, using Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, has been implemented. Remote monitoring system for temperature and humidity in the house and on/off status of bulbs, fans and irrigation pump is developed. The ThingSpeak IoT platform is used for remote monitoring of devices in a home and acts in case of a certain condition being met jointly with a mobile application. Home security has been tackled in this study.
