Prevalence and Health Impact of Obesity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The rate of obesity is increasing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by an alarming percentage. This study aims to assess the extent of the knowledge and awareness of the Saudi population of the effects and damages associated with obesity and how these can affect their health in the future. The study provides suggestions for public health interventions to solve and address the increasing rate of obesity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
