| dc.description | Abstract This research aimed to identify the level of teachers’ attitudes toward the use of physical activities to reduce stereotypical repetitive behavior among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Jazan region, as well as to examine the differences in these attitudes according to the variables of gender, years of experience, qualification, and specialization. The descriptive survey approach was employed, using a questionnaire of teachers’ attitudes toward the use of physical activities to reduce stereotypical repetitive behavior among children with ASD, developed by the researcher. A random sample of (117) male and female teachers of children with ASD from the General Administration of Education in Jazan was selected. The findings revealed that the level of teachers’ attitudes toward the use of physical activities to reduce stereotypical repetitive behavior among children with ASD was very high postive, with an overall mean score of (59.42). The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in teachers’ attitudes attributable to the gender variable (male/female), with the differences favoring male teachers, while no statistically significant differences were found at the level of (0.05) attributable to the variables of years of experience, qualification, or specialization. Considering these findings, several recommendations were presented, including enhancing teachers’ highly positive attitudes toward the use of physical activities through providing practical training workshops focusing on implementation strategies and mechanisms for selecting appropriate physical activities for children with ASD. The research also presented several suggestions for future related research. | |
| dc.description.abstract | الملخص هدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن مستوى اتجاهات المعلمين نحو استخدام الأنشطة البدنية لخفض السلوك النمطي التكراري لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بمنطقة جازان، والكشف عن الفروق في هذه الاتجاهات تبعاً لمتغيرات (النوع، وعدد سنوات الخبرة، والمؤهل، والتخصص). وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي؛ من خلال تصميم وتوزيع استبانة للتعرف على اتجاهات المعلمين نحو استخدام الأنشطة البدنية لخفض السلوك النمطي التكراري لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد (من إعداد الباحثة)، من خلال عينة عشوائية من معلمي ومعلمات ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بالإدارة العامة للتعليم بجازان بلغ عددهم (117) معلمًا ومعلمة. وقد أشارت نتائج البحث إلى أن مستوى اتجاهات المعلمين نحو استخدام الأنشطة البدنية لخفض السلوك النمطي التكراري لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد جاءت إيجابية مرتفعة جدًّا؛ حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي للمقياس ككل (59.42). كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0,05) في اتجاهات المعلمين نحو استخدام الأنشطة البدنية لخفض السلوك النمطي التكراري لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد تعزى لمتغير النوع (ذكور، إناث) وهذه الفروق جاءت لصالح المعلمين الذكور، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0,05) في الاتجاهات تعزى للمتغيرات الأخرى؛ عدد سنوات الخبرة، أوالمؤهل، أوالتخصص. وفي ضوء ذلك تم تقديم عدة توصيات منها تعزيز الاتجاهات الإيجابية المرتفعة لدى المعلمين نحو استخدام الأنشطة البدنية عبر توفير ورش تدريبية تطبيقية تركز على أساليب التنفيذ العملي، وآليات اختيار الأنشطة البدنية المناسبة للأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد، كما تم تقديم عديد من المقترحات لدراسات مستقبلية ذات صلة. | |
