This long annotated translation solves many obstacles a translator might find while translating literary texts. It starts by telling the reader the theories it follows and the major points it seeks to discuss as the problem of prior cultural knowledge and the Deficit Model of Female Language. It also discusses the methods of translating some critical subjects as names, idioms, and proverbs. Also, it talks about the use of semantic and aesthetic linguistic devices to enhance the functionalist approach since this study borrows many of its principles.
