Abstract

Nowadays, the diabetic disease is one of the most widespread diseases. Each patient who has got diabetes is in danger of getting diabetic foot ulcers, and this is harmful especially in late stages. This project aims to find out a calibration method to a triaxial inductive sensor in order to keep it at the highest possible level. Moreover, there are two main objectives in this project: providing a prototype reliable sensor and an efficient model. This project relies on k-fold cross-validation and follows the holdout method. This model revealed that the regression result is good by taking the large number into account, and we ended up with an accuracy rate of 0.996, which is considered acceptable. However, this project set a target that was partially achieved. Thus, future work might include looking at the relationship between force and position by using the same model to explain the relationship between them.
