dc.description.abstractWith the advanced improvement in technology especially in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) fields, various life aspects have benefited from this improvement. Artificial Intelligence has an important role to play in the healthcare field for both medical staff and patients. It could help in improving the diseases diagnoses, detecting various types of tumors and speeding the process of drug producing. The use of AI could result in many advantages such as making healthcare accessible to a large number of the population especially in poor countries because it could make healthcare cheaper than traditional ways. The aim of this project is to develop an AI project that could improve the detection of brain tumors. This would help both patients and doctors, it could help save lives by detecting the tumor in early stages, it may also help doctors to detect the tumor because the brain tumor diagnosis is known to be difficult. The project follows a new method by combining two useful Machine Learning methods which are convolutional neural networks and support vector machines. The project proved to meet its goal by showing good results and achieving a high accuracy as well as high results in other important metrics.
